InstaPay Features and Benefits:

InstaPay app allows users direct access to all their bank accounts and perform transfers instantly using only mobile device 24/7.

You can register with a bank account in one of the banks providing the service, considering that the mobile number used must be registered at this bank. Also, having either a Debit or Using Debit card & its related pin code is a must to complete registration to Instapay from the same bank.

InstaPay Functions:

• Sending Money instantly to local bank accounts or mobile wallets using beneficiary data such as “Mobile Number, IPA, Account number, IBAN or Card Number”

Get started?

1. Download the app from your mobile app store
2. While going through the onboarding process, you will need to ensure your mobile number is registered at your bank.
3. [For dual SIM users], choose SIM card of the registered number in the bank, the application will send SMS from the selected SIM to verify the customer mobile number.
4. The application will display the available banks, select Kuwait Finance House Bank – Egypt, insert your Debit Card number and pin code to add your account/s.
5. Choose the bank account, then create your IPA (instant payment address)
6. Upon successful verification, you will be able to see all your available accounts in the bank and then select the preferred account to enable the service on.
7. Insert the OTP (one-time password) received through SMS. You will then be asked to create a unique IPN account and Secure it using an IPN PIN code, noting that this IPN PIN should not be week PIN such as 111111/123456

Any customer with a bank account in one of the banks providing the service, considering that the mobile number used must be registered at this bank.

1. Download the InstaPay app from your mobile app store.

2. Register from the mobile number maintained on the bank system as you will receive the SMS with OTP.

3. Select your bank and add your active debit card number

4. You will be then asked to create a unique IPA account and Secure it using an IPN PIN

5. You can also link multiple bank accounts to the app

An Instant Payment Address “IPA” is a simplified address for your account per app which you can use to send and receive money on IPN instead of using the full bank account or card details. Think of it as an email Address which you can use to transfer money.

You need to make sure that the mobile number you have used during the registration is the same mobile number registered with your accounts in the bank, if not you may need to visit the bank and update your information or this might happen if your bank does not permit your account type to be listed on IPN.

Only local mobile number can be used to add the account to the application and it should be the one registered in the bank.

• Click on “Manage" in the home page or through “Manage accounts”

• Select the account that you want to reset it's “IPN PIN”

• Click on “Forgot PIN”

• Insert the card number (16 digits) and PIN (4 digits)

• Insert the received OTP (One Time Password) through SMS then you will be able to create a new “IPN PIN” (6 digits) which will be used in fund transfer, balance inquiry and mini statement

• Click “Manage accounts”

• Choose the bank account/Meeza prepaid card

• Click “Change PIN”

• Insert current “IPN PIN”

• Insert new “IPN PIN”

• Insert the new "IPN PIN" for confirmation

• "IPN PIN" will be set successfully

You can transfer money within following limits:

• EGP 70,000 per transaction

• EGP 120,000 per day

• EGP 400,000 per month

• No, you can only use saving and current accounts in local currency

• Click on “Check Balance” next to the accounts on the "Main Page"

• Insert the 6-digit “IPN PIN”

• Your balance will be displayed

• Click on “Collect Money” at the bottom of the screen

• Choose: “Mobile Number” or “IPA” or "Multiple Collect"

• Insert the “Mobile Phone Number” or “IPA” and then press “Next”

• Review the transaction summary, then press “Confirm”

• Collect request will be sent

• Click “Send Money” in the homepage.

• Choose the beneficiary (Bank account/IBAN, mobile number, mobile wallet or Debit/Credit/Prepaid card).

• Insert the amount to be transferred.

• Insert the “IPN PIN” and then click "Insert".

• Click on “Send Money” on the Homepage.

• Choose “Card” as the option to send money.

• Insert the card details, amount to be transferred then click "Next".

• Review the transfer details.

• Insert the IPN PIN then press "Confirm".

a. First scenario:

• Click on “Transactions History” displayed on the “Home Page”

• Account transactions will be displayed

b. Second scenario:

• Click on “Manage Accounts” on the main page

• Select the account/Meeza prepaid card

• Click on “Check statement” displayed

• Account transactions will be displayed

You can send money by using one of the following details of the beneficiary:

• IPA (account address created by the user)

• Mobile Number

• Account number and Bank Name or IBAN

• Card Number

Share any of the details stated below:

• IPA (account address created by the user)

• Mobile Number

• Account number and Bank Name or IBAN

• Card Number

• Share your QR Code to the sender (Generated from inside instaPay app)

InstaPay provides you with the transaction status instantly, the status can be one of the following:

1. Successful Transaction: means that the transfer amount is credited to the beneficiary account.

2. Rejected Transaction: means that the transfer was rejected, and the transfer amount is reversed to the sender account.

3. Pending Transaction: this means that the transaction is sent to the beneficiary bank which will execute it shorty. The transaction status will be updated shortly with either being successful or rejected.

Whenever a transaction is declined on InstaPay, the bank will automatically reverse the transaction to your bank account immediately, in case the transaction is not reversed, please contact your bank and provide them with the transaction reference number to track the transaction.

Please share the transaction details including the transaction ID with the bank to check the transaction status and investigate. Please provide the beneficiary with the transaction details including the transaction ID and ask them to check with his bank also and investigate.

Bill payment support payment to telecoms and utilities in addition to recharge services and donations.

From home screen click on:

1. Bill payment

2. Choose the service category as telecom & internet bills, recharge, donations, etc.

3. Choose the subcategory by flipping through the different options available.

4. Enter the bill details and amount.

5. Click next

You will land on the summary page to review the payment details and confirm by entering the IPN PIN

The status of your payment will be displayed on the confirmation page, and it will be either successful or rejected.

Transaction status shall be viewed at any time from the transaction history

I paid a bill; however, it is not reflected at the service provider. What shall I do? the bill service provider may take up to 24 hours to fulfill the bill or it will be reversed to your account.

If not reversed after 24 hours please contact your bank to raise a complaint.

How can I cancel or delete my Instapay account?

- Click on account at your Instapay application

- Select Delete Account

Call our contact center @ 19072 & ask them to block your IPN account
